安全で安心できる、
住まいと居場所を地域につくる。
居住支援って何だろう。もしかすると初めて耳にする方もいらっしゃるかもしれません。一言でいうと、住まいを借りにくい状況にいらっしゃる方々に対して、安全で安心できる住まいを提供するプロジェクトです。
わたしたちは千葉県松戸市において、非正規などで働く女性、ひとり親家庭、外国人居住者の方々向けに住まいのサポートを行う「居住支援法人」★（千葉県）の指定を受けました。
★居住支援法人とは、住宅セーフティネット法に基づき、居住支援を行う法人として、都道府県が指定するもの
現在、市内の子育て・福祉分野の活動団体と、不動産・建築分野の団体が協働で、市内において住宅等を必要とする女性、ひとり親家庭、外国人居住者等に対して、適切な価格による民間賃貸住宅の提供、必要に応じて、生活支援や就業支援を地域ぐるみで行っています。

What Are Affordable Housing & Community Support?
Everyone deserves a safe, secure, and affordable place to live. Yet many people face barriers to accessing housing because of their income, family circumstances, or social background.
Our mission is to provide not only affordable housing, but also community support that enables people to build stable lives and a genuine sense of belonging. We believe that a home is more than a place to live—it is the foundation for dignity, connection, and opportunity.
Our nonprofit organization works in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, supporting women in non-regular employment, single-parent families, foreign residents, and others who experience difficulties in securing housing.
Our organization has been officially designated under Japan’s Housing Safety Net Act as a housing support provider.
Housing Support Providers are nonprofit organizations and other entities officially designated by prefectural governments under Japan’s Housing Safety Net Act to assist people who face difficulties in securing housing. They work in partnership with local governments, housing providers, and community organizations to improve access to safe, stable, and affordable housing.
Today, organizations working in childcare, social welfare, real estate, and construction collaborate across the community to support people in need of housing. Together, we provide reasonably priced private rental housing and, when needed, offer community-based support, including assistance with daily living, employment, and social participation.
Through affordable housing and community support, we strive to create communities where everyone can live with safety, dignity, and a true sense of belonging.
